Ariel's Wedding at the Ole Hanson Beach Club
Ariel is such an incredibly thoughtful and loving person.
We had such a nice time getting to know her loved ones the morning of her wedding. They were there for each other and all together they enveloped Ariel with deep friendship and support. And in return it felt like Ariel was surrounding her loved ones with a love bubble - it was so palpable!
This is the reason why we are obsessed with weddings! All the feels. We are so honored to support another #chillzilla and her Bride Squad get ready before walking down the aisle. Ariel’s message literally had me laughing out loud when she sent me this a few days after her wedding:
“I fell asleep with a full face fo makeup on and my hair still done after a crazy dance-filled night and woke up with hair intact and makeup still on point”!
So not only does your hair and makeup with Just Lago last all day and all night, it literally will last until the next morning! haha! When I used to do my friends’ hair and makeup for prom (back in the dayyyy), they would say the same thing. In fact, we would always go out to brunch the next day and everyone would still be rockin’ their updos! lol. Love it!
She continues, “I move a lot when I sleep so I know that my hair had to be secured like no other to have held up through all that”!
“I’ve always known that Ryan loved me, as he shows love through action, but I have never heard him speak of love or confess his feelings in the way he did that afternoon”.
“My favorite moment of our wedding day was hearing the vows that Ryan had written. It was so vulnerable and beautiful and it hit my heart and soul in such an incredible way. Then there was the kiss that made it official! If there was ever a perfect kiss, I would swear that was it! It may sound a bit cheesy, but it was as if it was just the two of us, lost in a magical moment. I guess that’s two moments, but I could relive those few minutes on repeat over and over!”
“ What helped me chill out the most was a few key items from home and the amazing ladies on my bride squad! ”
“My sister knows that I have a small stuffed dog that is infused with lavender beads and handed him over to me for comfort and I held onto him the entire time I was getting my hair and makeup done. I had my favorite candle lit in the room to help keep the mood calm and relaxing. And my best friend/maid of honor played a guided meditation to help calm my mind and help me shape those nerves into more focused intentions”.
