Just Lago was founded by Dana Lagomarsino, who grew up in the dance world and has spent over 20 years in beauty and wellness. From performers and creatives to brides, friends, dancers, and professional cheerleaders, Dana’s background shaped the heart of Just Lago from the beginning: everyone deserves to feel safe, celebrated, and completely themselves.
Before founding Just Lago, Dana lived in the South and in Philadelphia for seven years, working with a beautifully diverse clientele, including POC clients, friends, dancers, and cheerleaders from the Eagles and 76ers communities. That experience deepened her understanding of inclusive beauty, from working with different skin tones and undertones to creating looks that feel personal, polished, and true to each client.
As a longtime ally with close family members and friends in the LGBTQIA+ community, Dana and the Just Lago team proudly support POC and LGBTQIA+ couples year-round. From donating time and beauty services to Pride events to creating an affirming wedding morning experience, inclusivity is not a trend for us — it’s part of who we are.
We’re also more than hair and makeup. Through our “Don’t Be a Bridezilla. Be a Chillzilla” philosophy, we help couples feel supported before, during, and after the wedding with beauty prep guidance, salon services, meditation resources, yoga, massage, lymphatic facials, and wellness experiences designed to bring calm before the glam.
